InBulk signs marketing agreement with Norbert Dentressangle
InterBulk has signed a second joint marketing agreement with leading logistics provider Norbert Dentressangle ("ND"), this time for dry bulk chemicals, minerals and foods through its subsidiary InBulk Technologies Limited ("InBulk"). The new agreement covers the supply of the ISO-Veyor, an innovative inter-modal tankcontainer that can discharge a range of dry bulk materials from the horizontal position, without the need for tipping.

This follows an earlier agreement in which InterBulk and Norbert Dentressangle agreed to jointly develop added value integrated logistics services for selected common customers, tender processes or prospects.

Within the terms of the latest agreement, InBulk will provide ND with the ISO-Veyor technology on an exclusive basis for logistics contracts. The exclusivity is granted for ND's main European markets of France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. In return for this exclusivity, the agreement obliges Norbert Dentressangle to bring into service 150 ISO-Veyors over a three-year period, either by means of lease agreement to Norbert Dentressangle or capital sales either to Norbert Dentressangle or to their end client.

At the end of 2006, InBulk embarked on a series of successful demonstrations of the ISO-Veyor to Norbert Dentressangle in the South of France. New ISO-Veyors will be brought on stream as projects materialise. InBulk's sister company UTT, already has a similar agreement in place for liquid chemicals, signed in January, which is now generating turnover for UTT.

Koert Van Wissen, Chief Executive of InteBulk comments: "This will be a commitment to share commercial opportunities in key European 'intermodal dry bulk' markets. It's a great fit between two complementary organisations, each partner will focus on his core competencies, thus adding value to our combined service offerings."
